Terms of Service

Last updated August 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AmberCap (the "App"), published under the Apps4USV brand. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. What AmberCap does

AmberCap helps you remember to take medications you add yourself, and lets you optionally share your schedule with family contacts you choose. It is a reminder tool, not a medical device.

3. Not medical advice

AmberCap does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor or pharmacist. You are responsible for entering your own medication information correctly and for verifying doses and timing with a healthcare professional. Reminders depend on your device staying on, connected, and permitted to send notifications. We can't guarantee a reminder will always reach you, and the App must not be relied on as the only safeguard for critical medication timing.

4. Your account

AmberCap uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in tied to your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can click your sign-in link can access your account.

5. Family sharing and missed-dose alerts

You can add a family contact by their email address. Doing so will: (a) send that person an email explaining what AmberCap is; (b) let them view your medication schedule if they sign in to AmberCap with that same email address; and (c) email them automatically if a scheduled dose isn't marked as taken within the delay you configure in Settings. If you provide a phone number in Settings, that number is included in those alert emails as WhatsApp and Call links so your family contact can reach you directly. You can remove a family contact at any time from the Family screen, which stops both the schedule sharing and the alerts.

6. Subscriptions

The free tier of AmberCap tracks one medication at no cost. A paid Premium tier (currently $2.99/month or $29.90/year) unlocks unlimited medications, email alerts to a linked family member when a dose is missed, and email backups of your medication history. Premium purchases are billed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, and subject to their buyer terms in addition to our own Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use AmberCap to store information about someone else without their knowledge, attempt to disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer the App beyond what's permitted by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using AmberCap and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these Terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. We'll update the date above when we do; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the update.
